DGF Contracting

At DGF Contracting we can provide full cultivation, planting, harvesting, and broadacre spraying services for pasture and cropping operations.

Jared started working alongside Dion nearly 18 years ago and has always been a key part of the contracting team. While pursuing his dream of flying helicopters, his career took him around the world including flying in places such as Papua New Guinea and Australia. Despite this, Jared always made a point of returning home during the busy planting and harvesting seasons to support the team.

Today, Jared and his business partner Tim own and operate DGF Contracting, a pivotal part of the DGF Group.

During the quieter winter months, Jared can often be found riding for Snow Moto in the snow-covered peaks around Queenstown or more recently, Canada.

Tim has worked alongside Dion on and off for the past 20 years. A father of six, Tim and his wife Ruth spent several years living in Ruth’s homeland of Australia, where they raised their young family. During this time, Tim also pursued one of his passions and built a career in carpentry.

Following a call from Dion a few years ago, Tim and his family packed up and moved back to New Zealand to help run operations in a previously owned contracting business. With the formation of DGF Group, Tim and his business partner Jared now own and operate DGF Contracting Ltd, the contracting arm of the group.

Covering cultivation, planting, spraying, and combine harvesting, Tim and Jared have built a fast-growing client base across the wider Manawatu region.

When he’s not in a tractor or harvester (or chasing one of his six children), Tim enjoys getting out deer hunting.
